We now take a few days to venture into standardized testing and then we will kick off our next unit; overcoming obstacles book club. The inquiry question for this unit is: who gets to have the American dream?

English (Gunst) | We have a busy week coming up. In preparation for the upcoming Forward Wisconsin Test, we will be doing some work on writing written responses to essay questions. Additionally, we are having a short unit, Shark Tank, in which your student will come up with an invention or product and then create a presentation to be shared with the rest of the class. This unit will serve to develop students’ public speaking skills. As always, please continue to foster your student’s independent reading assignment (20 minutes of reading outside of class).
