Newsletter March 4th, 2022

Interested in chaperoning Urban Challenge?  We are putting feelers out to see if anyone would be interested in being a chaperone?  Thank you to those of you who have already filled in the form.

Date:  TBD, but most likely May 12th.

Time:  From 8:20 AM to 3:50 PM - it is an all-day commitment

FYI: You are not put with your scholar on purpose - it changes the team dynamic significantly.

Your role:  You are there for safety, not to lead the team or be a resource.  The hardest part of the day is not leading the team, especially when they want to go the wrong way.

Team size: 5 to 6 scholars typically

Why:  It is a really amazing field trip that allows you to get outside for a whole day and see places around Madison in an Amazing Race type trip.  It is a lot of fun to be a part of the team.

Who: Adults who are interested, can be home adults, extended family, grown siblings etc.

Interested?  Please fill in this form and we will see if there is enough interest to go ahead with the planning of the field trip or not.

There are only two weeks left of quarter three which means many classes are in crunch mode.  Some scholars are cruising right along, others are falling a bit behind, we are jhere to help, just let us know what we can do.
