We are working on creating a Nonfiction Picture Book.  Each student will produce a stand-alone picture book that will be shared with elementary students.  Currently, your scholar has decided on the topic of their project and has thought about and selected the format of their book.  In the next few days, your scholar will be researching their topic and taking notes.

Additionally, your scholar has taken a Summative Assessment on Figurative Language.  Ask them to share the test which they received back yesterday.  Remember, students that scored below a “3” can do a retake.

As always, please encourage your scholar to read 2o minutes a night outside of class.
