Students are encouraged to take the Spanish copy home to study and practice, and we will use the English copy to help us write the final.

We had a guest presenter this week who shared about her experience teaching in India. Students submitted their 5 Themes of India assignments which were summative and allowed them an opportunity to learn about that nation. We started our Religions of the World unit today and will continue into next week. We look at very basic beliefs and practices of 5 of the world's largest religions. Students need to have all summatives at a 2.5 or higher in order to attend the CARE trip. They should be checking in with me if they have not done so already.
Questions:
*Who was your guest speaker and what did you learn?
*What are some physical or human characteristics of India?
*What are some of the foods popular in India?
*What are the 5 religions you are studying? Which 3 share a history?
*What are 3 new things you learned about religions of the world?
