Newsletter September 17th, 2021

With another week behind us, we are settled more into our routines.  A few things to keep speaking to your scholars about are how to wear their masks safely, as well as choices made in the hallways, lunchroom, and bathrooms.  While many of our incredible sharks are grooving right along, some are having a harder time adjusting to being back in building.  We will continue to help them, of course.

Quick things to know:

  • GSA (Gender Sexuality Alliance)  meets every Tuesday in Mrs. Ripp’s classroom during lunch.  Her email is psripp@oregonsd.net

  • Homework club runs every Tuesday and Thursday 4 PM to 5 PM - no sign up needed.

  • Art club (open studio format) will meet after school in room 205 Mondays 4 PM to 5 PM - no sign up needed.

  • OMS has a late bus that scholars can sign up for if they go to homework club or stay late for other school purposes.

  • Our library letter for the year - which was also handed out at Ready-Set-Go conferences - can be found here.

Upcoming dates:

  • MAP or STAR test in English - Sept. 21st

  • Picture re-take October 22nd

  • No school October 28th and 29th
