We are working on two units simultaneously:  a unit focusing on literary analysis using picture books and short stories.  Your students are learning how to analyze and write about literature.  A second unit is focused on debate and critical thinking.  This unit is mostly occurring in the classroom and is a nice way to finish off the year by getting students talking and interacting with each other.

Please work with your students to have them finish out the year strong.
