Our end of year auction is coming up! Students have been earning CARE cash all year long to spend during the auction. We are looking for donations to help supply the prizes for this culminating activity. While we have sent letters to many local businesses we find that a personal contact sometimes seals the deal. To assist in this endeavor, we have a general letter that can be used. Please see here.
Students were introduced to this idea and know that they can see Ms. Stoller to sign up for a business to which they would like to make a personal 'ask' IF they would like to. (We don't want to inundate any one business.)
Additionally, sometimes parents donate directly. They have:
- purchased a prize (gift card to favorite restaurant/store, books popular with teens, sporting goods or team apparel)
- made a monetary donation
- made an inquiry at their place of employment about making a donation.
We use monetary donations to buy gift-cards for students, and we also use the money collected through box tops and Milk Moo-La to help fund the auction.
