A reminder that conferences will be the 17th and the 19th of November at OMS. There is no sign up, you show up and when a teacher is available you get a 5 minute meeting with them. If you need more time, please reach out to the individual teacher and schedule a meeting. Due to NCTE, Mrs. Ripp and Mrs. Bures will only be available on the 17th.
Book fair will be at OMS next week as well. Stop down before or after conferences to see the great selection of books and other items. Students can also shop during the day if they bring money.
The sharks would like give a huge congratulations to Clayton for being our Rising Star for quarter 1, as well as the following students for finishing in the top 3 of the OMS Fun Run: Clara, Halle, and George. Our very own Mrs. Bures and Ms. St. Clair finished in the top 3 for female staff as well.
The OMS Magazine fundraiser began this week. All students received an booklet that they should fill out and bring back, that's it. Our fund-raiser is critical for many reasons. The money raised helps to off-set costs for many of our students so they can have access to opportunities throughout the year such as field trips. Last year OMS raised $1,326.28 and we believe that we can easily top $3,000.00 this year with the product we are using! The fund-raiser will run from November 9th and end November 20th.
