Newsletter October 22nd, 2021

End of First Quarter:  First quarter ends on Wednesday, October 27.  First quarter report cards will be available the week of November 8 in the Infinite Campus Portal or at fall conferences.

Fall Conferences: Fall conferences will be held 4:30-8:00 pm on Thursday, November 11 and Tuesday, November 16.  These are drop-in conferences with no appointment necessary.  If you attended conferences last week at Oregon High School, we are using the same conference format.  Families will be able to pick up copies of the report card and then visit with teachers of their choosing for five minute conferences.

Student Drop-Off:  The doors at OMS open at 8:20 am, and this is when we have staff available to supervise.  Please encourage your students to dress for the weather. If you drop off your student in the loop, please pull all of the way up to the yield sign so that we can fit as many cars in the loop as possible.  This will help morning drop-off be as efficient as possible for everyone.

Student Pick-Up:  If you pick up your student at the end of the day on Pleasant Oak, please remind them to use the crosswalk if they need to cross the street.  We have had some issues with students crossing in the middle of the road.
