Newsletter March 3, 2017

There are only 3 weeks left of the quarter, which means we are already looking ahead to end of quarter.  Early potential summer school emails have been sent out, these mean that at present time we think your learner would benefit from being included in summer school in various subjects.  They do not mean that your child is locked in for summer school, things can definitely change between now and the end of the year.

We are also reminding kids to check Infinite Campus to see if they have missing assignments or have things they need to re-take.  The window for re-takes or handing in missing work is two weeks after the due date.  Students are expected at this point in the year to be in charge of what they need to re-take and what they need to make up.  If they have missing work or summatives that need to be re-taken they are ineligible for the CARE trip until it is taken care of.  Individual CARE contracts are not issued this quarters as we tell students to check their own IC’s and then speak to the teachers they need to.

Ask your students what new tools they have learned to use!
