Math - the students are reviewing today and testing tomorrow. There will be no assignment on Wednesday. They will be starting a new unit on Thursday and working on Investigation 1.1. Investigation 1.2. is the assignment for Friday.
English - today is theme park work day, and the students will be sharing their work on Thursday. Grammar work is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, and Friday is grammar and vocab day.
Geography - the students are sharing their current events today. Tuesday - Thursday they will watch CNN, the World in Peril and study the countries of Cameroon, So. Africa, Chad, and Rwanda (look for video guide worksheets).. A quiz is scheduled for Friday.
Science - the students are working on body systems, and a project and test are tentatively scheduled for the last week of February. Some students are forgetting to write in their science notebooks, and a few haven't even been bringing them to class.( If your student has lost his/hers, a COMPOSITION notebook by Norcom is a good choice.) Please check to see if your student's notebook is up-to-date. Thanks!
